Okay, so first show coming up, testing out the meter, I followed the install instructions and have started the software, but the problem is that the software is SUPER slow. Everything else on my laptop runs fine.
My laptop is as follows: Windows XP, 1.5GHz Centrino 1 GB RAM And I've got plenty of swap space on my HDD and plenty of room there.
Any suggestions on things to try? Its unusable the way it is.

Nope, my computer doesn't have HT, or more than one core.
I don't know what's going on, I'm going to just reformat it in hopes that its some conflict with something else on my system.

well what i have noticed from my experience, is that you need at least 2.5GHz or higher, i had a dell laptop with 2.1GHz ADM and 80GB Ram and 512 memory and was moving slow, I later sold that one and bought a new one with 2.4GHz and pent4 with 80 GB and 256 and was still slow, i changed to 512 in memory and was then working fine, i recently bought another computer and teh speed was at 1.8 with 120 and 512 and was slow in loading and all teh working
so i think the termlab works better with faster speed and higher memory

After removing those items it worked with no problems at all!
Turns out this was EXACTLY my problem with the speed of the software. While I was using my wireless (or just had it enabled) it was slow. So I reformated and it worked mysteriously. Well, after plugging in my 3COM PCMCIA card, the software started acting erratically again.
Wayne, my wireless card in my laptop was an Intel ProWireless IPW2100 802.11b internal card and my external PCMCIA card was a 3COM 10/100 PCMCIA NIC and Modem. If you need I'll get you exact specs.
