If not why the price difference?Which one is being used by the judges..Thanks for the help....

I have had both the usb and the .net systems as well as a total of 5 different sensors. With the appropriate k factor, they have all been spot on every single time.


The .net system costs more because it has many more features. The .net system is the one that all judges curruntly use.

Not in WI and IL they both had USB's

but i wish they forced the .net rule a lil'more for 2x and 3x shows

Based on the limited reverse engineering I have done on my Termlab USB, there should be no difference as all the sonsor electronics are in the sonsor its self, and the sensor is common to both systems, the interface box on The USB version just houses the power supply for the sensor and act as a point where the sensor is connected to a third party data aquasition card, it also has a op-amp which buffers the signal for the signal ouputs on the front.
