I've been out of the game for quite a while and I am curious. It seems that the term lab measurements are quite a bit tighter than the older termpro. Generally speaking, about how much lower might my SPL read on a term-lab as opposed to the termpro.
Let me know if I am not being clear, or if I am misunderstanding. Thanks.

It can vary. A few factors are overall SPL and frequency. Most seem to agree that it's between 4-7 dB lower with the newer sensor based Term-Labs.
BTW - They were all called Term-Lab. Term-Pro refers to a suite of software that was available at one time. It's also the main Domain name here.

AH. Thank you very much. My mistake I thought the older one was called the term pro. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up for me.
