My old laptop, what worked fine couple of years, now stopped working and i had to install termlab software to another laptop. I did everything by the book and more... installed instacal, reboot, installed term-lab, reboot, plugged in USB cabel wiht box, reboot, opened instacal, it find what it should find, reboot. Now I opened term-lab, configured it and tryed to measure, it worked fine. After one hour i connected all stuff again and tried to measure SPL in car but it shows only 000. The green led on the box was not flashing, earlier it flased. Tried to reboot computer again, plugged and unplugged cables many times but nothing it still does not measure anything anymore. When i push start then sometimes green led flashes twice and stays and sometimes it stops for ~5 seconds and starts to work again but does not flash. The time in TL window does not work aswell, it shows all times 0.00. I tryed with two different versions of term-lab, one from TL homepage (the newest one) and from CD what came with other stuff two years ago, same with both versions.
Only thing i can think of is that there is somekind of problem with that computer... but what?

It did not solve the problem As I said, the installation was with no errors. There is no USB device names what begin with ALI or SIS. I uninstalled all USB devices and restarteted computer again, it re-detected and re-installed all USB devices. The Board Number is 1.
It still does not work, sometimes flashes couple of times, sometimes is OFF ~5 seconds and stays on afterwards.
