My guess is that the security settings for your browser are set too high. Try reducing your security settings.
When you insert the CDROM a browser window should open that contains the Term-LAB Installation menu.
You should select Step 1 (Install Instacal). A new window should open that asks you if you want to run the file or save it to disk. You should select Run.
You may then see a window warning you that the program is from an "Unknown Publisher". You should allow the installation to continue anyways.
The Instacal installation utility should launch. If it does not, there is something on your computer that is prventing the program from running. I would temporarily disable your anti-virus software and then retry.
If you encounter any error messages, please write down the exact message displayed so that I can assist you.
Finally, Term-LAB will only work with Windows XP or 2000. I am assuming you are installing onto a computer with one of these operating systems.
If none of this works, you can explore the contents of the CD-ROM and run the installtion applications manually. The Instacal installation utility is called Setup.exe (icon with computer and software box) which can be found in the D:\Instacal folder. The Term-LAB installation utility is called Term-LAB.MSI and it is found in the D:\Term-lab folder.
