i've noticed that every couple of times we get an update that some of the features that were activated will sudenly require activation. for example, about 3 or 4 updates ago i could use certain display devices without any kind of activation, and now on the newest update i cant even use speech synthesis without activation. why is that? i depend heavily on the speech sysnthesis when testing for bass race. any help would be appreciated.
thank god i keep all of the old updates on cd.
