Ok, everytime I try to run Term-Lab I get the warning that the Interface box must be connected to the Comp. first!!! I have bought a NEW usb cable AND tested the USB port on the Laptop (both are ok)!
So, anybody got any Ideas. trying to get around having to send it in if I dont need to!

Thanks, LUNDY

Make sure you run the Instacal program once so that the computer can detect the attached hardware.

Select Start / All Programs / Term-LAB / Instacal

Instacal should detect the Term-LAB interface box. In the board list, you should see a Term-LAB USB device.

If Instacal doesn't see the interface, there is probably something wrong with the USB system on the computer or the interface box is damaged.

Verify that the green Status LED on the interface is lit solid.

See the following...

Sorry Wayne, I should have stated that this system has been up and running for a while. It just started "THIS" the last time I fired it up! Don't know why all of a sudden. So with it not being a brand new never operated system would the solution be the same?
(And yes the Status LED is solid)
P.S. Thanks for the awesome response time!

On one computer I can have the USB hooked up when I start Windows ( turn on computer ) and Termlab runs fine.

On another computer, I have to wait for Windows to open before I connect the USB cable to run Termlab.

Weird

We had a similar issue last season. Ended up sending it into Wayne. He said that something was broken in the Interface box. We still see the same issue from time to time.
