I just got my TL today, and after installing the software and hardware, i opened instacal and let it recognize the tl system, then i tried to open the termlab and get up this errormsg:

Anyone?

And one more thing, in my set there were only one category 5 cable for the sensor, in a system at this price i would think that two cables should be provided..

i cant help you on the error message, but i'm confused about your cat 5 cable problem..

did you order a system with TWO sensors and only received one cable?

or did you order ONE sensor and receive one cable?


if that's the case, i dont understand why you would want or need a second cable for a single sensor unit???

if you ordered a dual sensor, and received only one cable, then i would assume it was a packaging oversight, as two sensors do in fact come with two cables.

I ordered a two sensor system, and got one cable, but i think that will work out.

Havent tried to update the directx yet, but thanks for the tip, i guess that is the problem even though i run windows xp...
