i just updated my software. i went in to edit the K factor on the mic, and its coming up an error. something about i cannot edit while an event is running. what do i do? i tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the same error. i'm lost and i'm still quite new to this very wonderful equipment. thanks

You may not edit the K-Factor while an event is in progress. (This prevents "tampering" with scores during the competition.)
To edit the K-Factor, select "Scorekeeping Options" and then "New Contest". You will now be able to edit the K-Factor. However, once you start a contest (and the number of competitors on the status line is > 0), you won't be able to edit the K-Factor.
The only time the K-Factor may be edited is when the number of competitors = 0. (After you select "New Contest".)

A bug was discovered that will cause a problem when you enter (pre-register) a single competitor with a score of 0. (Only 1 competitor in the database with a score of 0). This problem has been corrected. Please select Help/Update to download the update.
In addition to this bug fix, the program now supports Windows "themes". Graphical elements (such as command buttons, radio buttons, etc) now reflect the currently selected theme. Pretty cool.
