When you run Instacal, the Term-LAB data acquisition hardware does not appear in the "Boards List".
Problem
The required drivers for the Term-LAB data acquistion card (PCMCIA or PCI board) are not installed. If you attach new hardware to a computer BEFORE you install the drivers for the hardware, Windows will ignore the new hardware because the required drivers are missing.
Solution
Remove the Term-LAB hardware from the list of Unknown Devices in Device Manager. You must do this or Windows will continue to ignore the Term-LAB.NET data acquistion hardware.
Click on the Windows "Start" button.
Right-Click on "My Computer".
Select "Manage" from the drop-down list.
Click on "Device Manager".
Look for entries in the "Unknown Devices" catagory named "Term-LAB" or "Measurement Computing".
Right-Click on this device and select "Uninstall".
Close the Device Manager.
Remove the Term-LAB data acquisition card (or board) from the computer.
Please refer to your Term-LAB.NET manual for complete instructions on installing Term-LAB software and hardware.
