are the Tl sensors worth buying for $600 bucks or so and how often do i need to send it in to get recalibrated since TL tends to do it all the time

buy it !! dont think u have to reclibrate them unless u drop it on its head , take care of your gear and it will take care of u

It is DEFEFENTALY worth the $630. I would have paid double that for mine. I have raised my SPL score like 3 dB. just because of the Term-Lab. They should never need to be re-calibrated.

Actually probably not... You could throw the sensor as hard as you possibly could at a brick wall and the sensor would not even see half of the force that is applied to it when it is in a vehicle doing 160 dB. +

The Term-LAB system does not require periodic calibration.

At the Down Town Sounds XM event this weekend, a new competitor ran over one of Sam Horn's sensors. He said it cracked the case but the sensor still works fine! (Please note that this type of abuse is not recommended or covered by warranty.)

thanks for all the info guys , it just seems worth it to buy since its now a sensor and there s basically no maintence to really do to it. So is all i need a laptop? jus curious.. and i think it also be worth it totally since u can personally play with ur systems tuning whenever... thanks again everyone especially wayne... its cool for us little guys to hear from the big boys once and a while, and if theres nething else about the sensors or what i need pleasse let me no, and i take it money orders are not accepted? jus curious i havent checked yet...

Yes all you need is a laptop. And yes Wayne accepts money orders.
