are the Tl sensors worth buying for $600 bucks or so and how often do i need to send it in to get recalibrated since TL tends to do it all the time

It is DEFEFENTALY worth the $630. I would have paid double that for mine. I have raised my SPL score like 3 dB. just because of the Term-Lab. They should never need to be re-calibrated.

Actually probably not... You could throw the sensor as hard as you possibly could at a brick wall and the sensor would not even see half of the force that is applied to it when it is in a vehicle doing 160 dB. +

The Term-LAB system does not require periodic calibration.
At the Down Town Sounds XM event this weekend, a new competitor ran over one of Sam Horn's sensors. He said it cracked the case but the sensor still works fine! (Please note that this type of abuse is not recommended or covered by warranty.)

Yes all you need is a laptop. And yes Wayne accepts money orders.
