Symptom

When you attempt to run Term-LAB, you receive a message stating...

Error 62. Input past end of file.

Cause

This can be caused by a damaged scorekeeping data file or when old (incompatible) scorekeeping data files exist prior to the installation of a newer version of Term-LAB.

Solution

  • Uninstall Term-LAB (Select Start/Control Panel/Add Remove Programs.) Select Term-LAB and then click on "Remove". After the program has been removed, close all open windows.
  • Delete the Termlab folder. (Right-click on the Windows Start button and then select "Explore". The Termlab folder is located at c:\program files\termlab.) Right-click on this folder and select "Delete".
  • Re-install Term-lab.
Important

If you have existing archive data files from prior events that you wish to keep, you will need to copy them from the archive folders of each soundoff organization folder prior to deleting the Termlab folder.
