Hi all,
I've got a problem that's starting to p*** me off. I have an Eclipse 3434 head unit with Eclipse 8 CD stacker. Recently the head unit has starting having problems playing CD's (thank goodness for the stacker...). Sometimes after I stop and start the car again, the CD in there will fail to start again even though it was playing fine originally, and the disc will get ejected. Also, it is failing to read CD's on occasion when I put a fresh one in; it'll try for a moment then eject it. After several attempts it may play it, otherwise I put it in the stacker...
Any ideas? I'm wondering if the laser's at fault? I've lost the receipt from the install so I'm a bit worried... [Confused] [Confused]
All help greatfully appreciated...

Its not the external CD player thats the problem here, its the Eclipse indash unit and from the sounds of it, he doesnt compete.
