I recently bought some cdt cl-6's,then added an amp,no problems.

Then added a sub and another amp for the sub,no problems.

Now 3 weeks later my tweets are cutting in and out and sometimes turn off. [Frown]

is it possible they are turning off beacuse the amp is a 4 chan and is bridged twice ???

is it possilbe that the 80amp fuse is holding back(the total amperage is 90 amps)

they turn off and on at all volumes.

ive checked all the wires and still nothing.

also some times they sound like they are busted or on the verge, even at 1/4 volume

anyone help me??

A lot od speakers have a "Poly Switch" which is a tweetr protection component that looks like a small cap.
the Poly Switch opens the circuit to the tweeter when the voltage is too high.
You can easily bypass it by connecting the 2 leads to it.
