I was curious where everyone grounds there amplifiers to? I personally have a 97 Probe GT and my system consist of a panasonic df-88 cd player kicker crossover punch60 on my front JL XR components and a Crunch V-600 on my jl 2-12W3's my problem is I have a real bad whine in my front speakers but my rear speakers which is running off of my cd player have no whine at all and my amps are all grounded to one of the seat bolts which I sanded down very thouroughly to a bright shine. so I was just curious where evryone else has there ground at any and all opinions will be welcomed thanx. Your noise is probably coming from the rca cables, not the ground. Check the rcas to see if they come into contact with other sources of noise (fusebox, power wire, or any other wire with voltage on it).

we had some real bad noise in a 93 probe GT....try making your own head unit ground instead of using the factory's. if that doesn't work, make another ground for your amplifiers.....moving the location of the ground helps in those cars also.

Could your speaker cables and power cables be running too close or sometimes (in my case) I have tried everything and i was told that it was my rca's but I haven't gotten to replace them yet so try this.

I agree, start with the above. Make sure you don't have bottom dollar junky RCA's. Even $10 ones should be ok, just not the $3 20ft long ones.
Your grounding point for your amps seems like it should be ok. Make sure it is not corroded though. Also, how is the charging system in the vehicle....if the battery is junky, it can cause problems also.

Almost every time that I have had a customer come into my store and they have used a seatbelt bolt for their ground, they had noise. Find a open spot that is close but out of the way and grind a good sized patch of paint out of the way and use some nice 1" or longer screws and screw it down tight. Use a good amount of them too, not just one or two like 3 or 4 per ground lead.
