I just installed 2 700w kenwood 12's in a dual 12 sealed box. There hooked to a 760w sony explode amp. for some reason when the base hits they rattle, whether I have the music turned up real high or down low. Its definately coming from the subs the rattle isnt that loud, its noticeble but not so much that it takes away from the music. Im open to any suggestions. there definately not loose in the box I screwed them in real good. They hit hard and sound great they just have a tiny rattle. I hooked up each sub seperately just to see if there both doing it and they are. I have the amp bridged and there hooked in series. Please help ill take any suggestions.

I dont know the actual dimensions but its a box made for 2 12's its not a mechanical sound its really just like the cone part not the part with the magnet is rattleing.

rage,
check the tinsel leads coming from the terminal into the cone they most likely hit the cone with the movement of the sub. if so just get a peice of foam and wrap around it. or cut it and make it just a little bit shorter and solder it back on the terminal.( cut at the terminal ). if the tinsel lead isnt hitting i bet ya the box is cracked somewhere.

What are tinsil leads? are they just the wires that go from the speaker to the back of the box?
