I am having problems installing my Alpine tv tuner, it is model TUE-T011. I hooked up the red ignition wire, and grounded the black wire along with the yellow/blue parking brake input wire. I am installing it with the CVA-1005 and connected the white/brown wire from the tuner to the white/brown wire on the CVA. The unit is still not coming on though. Any help would be appreciated.

You may need to go into the setup menu on the CVA. When you do, select Aux 2 "on". This is assuming you have it plugged into the Aux 2 input. The tuner may be coming on, but, the CVA isn't "seeing" the output of the unit.

The CVA-1005 is installed properly because I have been using it with the DVA-5205. I had the tuner plugged into AUX 2 and turned that on in the menu, but still nothing.

I'm sorry, I do have it hooked up to a switch to bypass the parking brake/foot brake.
