i gotta Kicker ix 252 and a ix 702 hooked together
I ran sepeate RCA;s and the little amp keeps shutting down on when it hasnt even been on 5 seconds
whatr could be the prob

Unhook the speaker wires from it, and see if it still goes into protect. If it does, check the voltages on the power and turnon wires. If all is well, amp may be bad. If it turns on fine with no speaker wires attached, check for a blown speaker or shorted wire.

Get a multimeter and check for a blown speaker.. If the amp sees a short across speaker terminals that will usually trigger one of the protect modes, or make sure a speaker terminal is not touching metal on the car body..
