subs breaking in when not driven to their limit(like how dbdrag is done now) happened frequently. But, 3dB is a lot. New enclosure is definitely needed.

Thanks there my friend, i will have to live with this for a while but as you say a bigger enclosure, will test it again over the weekend to see what it dose now! Am i loosing db with the suds ass out? would it go up subs in? THANKS .

Just take a look at what the other people are doing before you dive in. I would personally check out the hardcore bass racers. You should be able to play low 150s with music.

i ran 2 aspl 5000's in 05 in my old astro van on 2 dd 9515's with only 8 3 year old 8 volt batts and was doing 158's legal.i'm suprised that your score isnt higher.i was @.7 ohms tho.i would love to have them amps back i liked them

Sound like my problem is not enough batts, i only have the 2amps on 1 12v batt each. How do you work out @ what ohms i am on? Thanks for any help.

Well, if you thinkm you need more batts, then do so. I am just saying, don't expect 150s with that enclosure, it just isn't set up to do spl. It is starting to look like you are dragging your feet about changing the enclosure.

Yes you are right! only problem i just had the instal custome done and i will have to take most of it out to get at the battery box in the back! and i dont think there is room for any more? I will keep it like this for this year and change it next year for a spl enclosure and make room for more batts to go for the 150+.
Question, never used Audiobahn subs before, i now they are reversed but should they go boom boom or vhhh vhhh, and they are vhh vhh why is that?

ur problem is the enclosures first! the way they are firing isnt good and you need alooooot more port area for sure. what is the cf of ur enclosure now per sub?

Hi, I am considering a new enclosure,or modding this one!if it can be corrected? what would you recomend, what way they are fiering? port is 27.5" long and 2" wide, 10" dep port- is it ok or to small, any advice welcome please. i can pm you the enclosure size if you can work it out for me! THANKS.
