Assuming the exact same enclosure (1.25 cub ft) and the same amp, which sub would produce more spl, a 12" RF XLC or a 12" JL W3?

From what i've heard the w3 is somewhere inbetween rockford's xlc and dvc, I asked almost the same question and i ended up getting a 12" rf dvc. It pounds pretty hard in an abc box.

Well IMO the W3 will eat the XLC if you have enough power for it. I'd compare the W3 more to a DVC or the new........ well you'll see

I'd say the w3, rockford's line's below the DVC simply are't hat impressive, but the w3 is quite the sub.
