Here's my scenario: I'm planning to use 0 gauge wire from 1st battery to 2nd battery then to a non-fused Power Distribution Block (PDB). Then 4 gauge wire from PDB to Capacitor then to sub AMP. I already have a 200 amp ANL fuse within 18" from my first battery. Should i add another fuse 18" from the second battery? Should i also add another fuse between the PDB and the Capacitor OR betweeen the capacitor and the amp? By the way the amp is an Autotek XS1500 and the subs are a pair of RF HX2 15"s. Any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks for any advice given.

If one battery is in the front of the car and the other battery is in the back of the car than you diffinately need to put a fuse right before the second one.

a fuse near every batt never hurt. also, a nonfused distro block scares me =)
just figure it this way. after any huge power source (like a batt), and if there is any long run b/t the first fuse and the amp (or cap), you'd be better off putting another fuse in there if your distro block isn't fused.. the more fuses the marrier.
