which amp is better to power my two 12"mtx 3000
subs 8ohm,in parelllel and mono on the amp
the mtx goes for around $250 and the kicker $
210.which is better for my subs and $$$$$

Which model #'s are you looking at? I'm not really a fan of MTX so I would say go with Kicker if the specs on the amps are close. I don't like kicker subs, but they make pretty awesome amps.

Kicker amps are small but I think they are pretty solid, all in all... MTX has the same quality so look at price and rated 4 ohm output, mono and stereo, for comparison...

MTX and Kicker are very comparable in
quality IMO. Yet they are very different
designs.
I would give the nod to MTX for inexpensive
servicablility. Kickers can sometimes be
a pain in the but to fix.
