Alright, I'm gonna get a new sub setup, but I'm not sure which subs to would be best. I've got a 3 cubic foot box to put the subs in, and 1000 watts of power to give them. Budget is about $500 for the pair. They need to be either 4-ohm DVC or 8-ohm SVC, for a 4-ohm mono load. I have had RF DVCs before and was very pleased with them, I was wondering about the Power DVCs. Also was thinking of Crystals. Any others I should consider? Thanks in advance.

I've got some books on the Crystal cmp10's... and they are awesome! It sounds like they are aimed for more sq than spl, though. By the way, does anyone know if the cmp10's are available in 8 ohm?
