i picked up the sub today for super cheap. Old owner was a bit of a newb. Claims it stopped working because he was underpowering it and blew a hole in the coil.

Well its pretty clear as day to physically see the coil and that its absolutely mint...no coil rubbing or anything so i think he may have just had an amp problem and the sub was infact ok. Ill test it tomorrow to see but even if its blown im quite happy.
