I know what ya looking at bro i sent him an email on this one. If a spacer ring was there to seperate the basket from the topplate. This would keep the pos and neg away from the topplate. But in return a taller former would need to be set up for the coil so that it can be set right in the gap. as well of a custom cone. This motor was never intended for a 10in basket due to the width of the motor but with some proper changes this can be set up for a 10 basket and be one sick sub
Not saying its not sick know cause it is.

the LVL5 motors have a diameter that is larger than the mounting cut-out diameter.

not really meant for a 10" basket

Results are 148.3 37hz LOL

Musically 147.8

Just like before anything in or around the port I lose drastically. I also deadened the roof and didnt do tests before and after.

I'm goona work my azz off the next two days and tear everything out to put in a split baffle to mount them traditionally.

Nothing like starting over again! ROFLMAO!

Thinking of building a new box with with center firing aero's

If you got extra stiff spiders it will probably take a good bit of power to get em' moving like your old subs.

impedance rise might be higher because of the higher motor strength as well
