right now im running a single sub system with the JL hd750/1 and the Boston Acoustic spg555 rated at close to 1000watts peak. in late fall JL is coming out with a hd1200/1 so of course i have to upgade. whats would be the best sub to keep my single sub system? or shud i just get 2subs?

Listen to a different subs and see what ones you like. I'm running a single sub myself. I'm running 1 TREO Engineering SSX 12.22 and it produces plenty of bass in my Alero.

never heard of Treo subs... you think it work be good for a Tahoe?

You should be fine using the HD1200/1 on the Boston SPG.
