Just wondering what people have heard, their site says 400 rms and 800 music(blah, blah) but that doesn't help me much. I will be running a bd1000 at 1ohm(please none of that "that amp won't run long at 1 ohm sutff, I've already heard it) So, can the 3512's(2) take a bd1000? Sorry for the cynical natue of the post but I just need some specific knowledge. Thanks

not to start anything, but i ran two BD1000A1's at 1 ohm mono in my daily driver all the time. they were some workhorses, and could destroy any one speaker i could put on them, given a low enough load.

Punch amps rule! I've used them for years. The new ones are the best i've had(although not cosmetically.)

You would be safe running 600w to them all day. my buddy has a BMF 1000D which pushs that and he has never missed a beat!

I just said 600 because that is the most I personally have ever run to them. quite possibly be much more in a sealed box. I just ran 600 to each in a ported.

without a problem. for a while i was running 1 3512 in my camaro with a power 1000a2 (considerably more power than the bd, and to 1 driver) with no ill effects. there was considerable power compression, and i would say anything more than 800w per driver is waste. loud with that power. dd overbuilds everything.
