if so what did you think?? I like my MT's but the SQ doesn't impress me. I know they are not RE's daily choice for a woofer but I am determined to make one very loud daily driver or I am going to hurt someone!!!!

If you want SQ..you went with the wrong sub...and if youre having issues getting your MT to be loud.....then I just dont know what to tell ya.
Subs up port back so work good in a blazer. I'm guessing that the "wall" pictured in your soundomian isn't woking well? http://www.sounddomain.com/id/b2sdad818 If you're gonna have the subs forward facing like that it's a good idea to seal off any area in front of the box from the area behind it. I'm sure doing that would really help your cause.
Anyhow My MT's are LOUD.....but the partial wall is getting on my nerves because I can't see out the back! I will be adding an air suspension soon and I need room for compressors and air tanks. So I will be down grading to 1 sub.
But yes, I guess the box I have now is wrong. on some songs the subs will bottom out? I know there is no way I am overpowering them...what gives?

Yeah, make some trim panels for your wall or build a different box for the trunk area. Maybe you bottom out the subs because you play to far below the tuning frequency??
