Hello, I am putting together a system with 2 12" RFR-2212 Power DVC Subs. Which Rockford Amp will safely and Efficiently Power these subs. I was looking at the 500a.2 or the 800a.2 Power Amps.

Any Suggestions?

You will need the 1100a Power amp for those subs, those speakers are 2000Watts, and need a ton of power, maybe if you get two Power 800a2 to power each one, then you will be ok.

A single 800a2 will be lots to run both woofers. A 500a2 will do as well and gives you the option of adding a second in the future.

Just put a yellow top in under the hood, and either put one more in the back, or maybe even 2 caps. Should give your electrical system some assistance holding that amp up at full power.

Just a thought. When my buddy got the kicker zr the 1000 watt model, the manager told him to get 1/0 cable, I am guessing you should do the same with the rockford one so you can get the right amount of juice to it.
