same here. I am not impressed with the loudness of my system next to the car however a cop disagrees. He cited me for a oise violation about 2-3 weeks ago from about 200-250ft away!

He said he heard my trunk rattling violently.

So maybe... tuned that low, you can only feel the bass rather than hear it out of the car that well.

I've set my works security lights system off parking 25ft away from their back door.

try driving around with the trunk lid open...

You're porting 2 12's in a box that is 2 cubic feet total? Try running a box that 3.5-4 cubic feet total. Making a box with less depth won't help you get louder, who told you that???

Try it with different windows down. Or just don't worry about it? I figure that the less people know I have a system the less people know that they can steal it. What does it matter how loud it is outside your car...

Yes, you need a bigger box if it will fit. Try tuning it a bit higher, 35-38hz maybe. Dynamat would make your panels move less and maybe help it get louder. Try stuffing your box.

Try your box in different positions / orentations (or however you spell it) to get it loud. Like subs back, port back...or port back, subs up...it all depends on your car and box and subs and everything.

I still don't get why anyone would pay to impress people they don't even know, and it only increases the chance of your stuff getting ganked, and it's sorta childish.
Please, bump responsibily?
