is there anything that can be done to fix this or is the sub junked. It was playing it and it finally happened.

I thought there was something resonant could repair but i wasn't sure if this was it or not.

Fried coil most likely, as in it scrapes when you push on it? I don't know what they can do about that, call them.

as long as you didn't smash the basket and magnet you are good to go.

reconing is the cone, surround, spiders,and coil.
when done=new sub!!

I don't think a SE series can be reconed. The cost involved in reconing is almost the cost of a new sub.
