Ok, my friend and I went out looking at some subs and amps, I thaink that he is going to go with an Xtant 1000dx. He has got a 91 camaro. He is wanting to have the subs fit in the well/trunk that is in the back of the car. We were wondering what would be the best match up for this amp:
(3) JL10W6 DVC @ 6Ohms or (2) JL12W6 SVC or DVC or (3) 8810 DVC @ 4Ohms or SVC @ 6Ohms or (2) 8812 DVC @ 4Ohms or SVC @ 6Ohms
Which of these configurations would give the best use of the amps power, be better SQ, and hit hard when it needed to? He would rather go with the Eclipse, (3) 10's but that gives and odd impedence. Would the 2 12's sound better? Hit harder? Thanks..

I agree with the Eclipse statement for beigngreat for SQ.... But I have to add that the Velodyne 10" and 12" subs are THEE best SQ subs for car audio. Go listen to one and hear it for yourself... I did and it sounded so much better than the 8800 series...
