I have finally decided to get two Punch Power DVC 15's and two Punch power 800a2's. I found out that the HCCA 15's are designed exclusively for HCCA amps and I am not planning on getting one.

I don't know anything about those subs, But I think you got some info from someone who doesn't know what they are talking about. Or that wanted to see you use Orion Amps...
I don't see how a sub could only be designed for one brand amp. Unless the sub is a crazy impedence curve that only the amps they designed to play it could play it. Not likely.

The only reason someone may have recommended the HCCA amps is because the HCCA subs can be configured for a 1ohm load and the HCCA amps will handle a 1ohm load easy. There are many ways to configure the two of those subs. I wouldnt put them out of the way just because someone recommeded a particular type of amp. Not that there is anything wrong with the Orion amps either. I happen to own a 600.4 Xtreme amp and love it.

They say that using this woofer without the inteliQ is not recomended and will void its limited lifetime warranty. Go to the Orion website and go to tech support, Speakers, HCCA, Specs and thats where you will find it.

Well they must be smoking some good stuff, cause I know of a few people that use the HCCA subs without the Orion HCCA amps and they still have there full warranty. Still sounds like a sales pitch from hell. BTW the HCCA amps are not the only Orion amps with IntelliQ my 600.4 has it on both sets of channels. Now It is true the specs say you will not get the whole warranty if you dont use a IntelliQ amp. But my question to you is how are they going to tell??
