Im plannin on running a little over 1100 watts rms to four 12 inch dd 3500 series. Just to get an idea of tuning and break them in for a while. Long term is two visonik 4000 watt amps, but that is a few months away.

won't happen with 250wRMS each, not for a long time anyhow.

With DD's there's no need to "break them in" as they are built strong. As soon as they build them they are tested with some power FREE AIR and they still come to you stiff as anything.
