i put a meter to my woofer and one vc read 2 ohms
the other read 2 ohms, but the paper said 4 ohms impedance per coil.....The specifications say the woofer can run in 2, 4, 8 ohms... [Confused]

Well, since the meter said 2 ohms thats what I would go by. What sub is it? Are you sure it's suppose to be 4 ohms?

tha amp is 1, 2, 4 ohms i was told that it will not work with my woofer that i have...

i'm get'n ready for my first db show, and i went there and one if there installers and a sales man said its not going to work. i know there going to be in the show, and thay asked if i can let them get the ments from my box. now I'm not that dumb the way i see it is there a car audio shop and there "selling" or thay know i'll be louder then them. my box is a TCAM for a 93 and up camaro/firebird. its tune low i think 32.5hz and 3.27 cu ft. -driver displacement. all the help i need ty.

The 2 ohm reading is at 0 Hertz, I don't think you plan on competing with a sweet note of 0 Hz.
With that said, the woofer probably is in fact 4 ohms per coil and should be treated as such unless you measure the actual impedance at the frequency you want to play. Bottom line, dual 4 ohm coils means you can get 2 ohms bridged or 4 ohms per channel which is fine for just about any situation.
