i have 3 RE SE 10's in a ported enclosure,(power is 1000 watts) now it sounds very loud, but i wanna experiment with sealed also... i want to know what size i should make my sealed enclosure?
also, should i make it 1 common chamber or 3 seperate chambers? should i fill it with poly or leave it empty??
Looking for clean, tight Bass. thanks [Smile]

I'm not sure about the exact size, but I'm GUESSING about 1cf each for clean tight bass. Definately use separate chambers. I like to use polyfill, but some people don't.

I would say 1 to 1 1/2cf in seperate chambers. If you go a little big on the box it'll just tune it a little lower...just don't go to big. And as far as poly goes, if you make the box a little bigger you should'nt need it, but like THX says, it's a matter of preference.

The thing I like about polyfill is it gives you the sound of a bigger box in a smaller box with greater powerhandling. Some people prefer a larger box with no polyfill and greater effiency.
