ok i have a huge interest in the new 8s that are coming out on the market and i the Re 8 is already released and i cant get jack **** for info on it. all i know is its gonna be Svc 2ohm and its gonna be a 100 watt rms. ive been trying to find stuff about it but i cant find a single thing. im tossed up right now between the L7 8 the ED 8 and the RE 8 but so far the kicker is in "the lead" and the Ed is catching up quickly and i cant even find anything to prove that the RE is better than my "old" RF punch 8s

they do not publish direct prices; they used to do that.

to expand their business, re went to using distributors. if they show the direct prices on the internet, no one will want to buy through distributors. you basically need to call re and find out if there is a distributor in your area. if not, THEN you can get the direct price.

tempe do you work for RE??? i already saw that post here on termpro. i dunno what i really want i guess. whats the freq response??? i dont just want to know that it hits low i want to know exactly how low it goes. i know that there is no RE retailed withing 25miles of me so im assuming that i qualify for direct pricing??? so its only a mere 100 watt rms??? thats a kick in the nutz [Frown] and why did RE make it a scv 2ohm instead of a dvc4/2 ohm of a svc4 ohm??? seems kinda odd.

well you have a good amount of multi channel amps that can do, say 100x4 @ 2 ohms so it simplifies the wiring, imo, amps do more power (most common) @ 2 ohms, or 1 ohm, but there are a few taht do high power @ 4 ohms, 2 ohms

if it was a dual 4, then would have to wire it up to 2 ohm load anyways, or a 4 ohm load and if you had 2 on a mono amp it would be a 1 ohm load, and if im correct, they dont make many (if any) mono amps that do 200x1 @ 1ohm, i kinda jumble that up

if it was single 4 ohm you could wire 4 up to a 1 ohm load, but still, 400x1 @ 1ohm is rare, if they even do that

someone correct me if im wrong, please, lol

lol... do you realize how many times this semester i thought about dropping out of my piece of $hit program at school and moving to LV to work there? wait--i'm sure they're sick of me enough and i live about 1000 miles away! my fav thing about car audio is the subwoofer/box. would love to do that kinda work. but im goin to school to become a teacher.

i got into re early on. i bought my sub b4 they gor really popular...i got it strictly based on word of mouth. i really enjoy my sub--esp at the low price that they are sold at. because of that, i choose to support them. so your answer is no.
