Ive got a Orion Hcca 10 in my truck right now in a box I built per Orion specs(1.4 cf tuned to about 34hz). I was wondering if anyone knew a better box design that would be louder for just street bumping until I get enough money to get re xxx's or bramha's. The truck is a 86 S-10 Blazer and the amp Ive got now is a Hcca 225 g4. Im new here and learning alot from reading everything you guys say so thanks for all the help

try 2^3ft with 30^2in of port tuned to 34hz,that should get a little bit louder.

my suggestion would be get a bigger amp, something that at least does 1200wrms.

peace

Im kinda new to this whole thing so its stupid question time. How would I go about getting 30^2in of port? and could you give me the best box dimensions to go with that port? Also what cheap amp could you recommend to push it?

a 250G4 would be a good improvement. If you have good electrical you should see over 1kw

download that.. it will help you learn a lot about how to design boxes..

when he says 30^2 inches of port, he is talking about making a slot port. you could make a port that is 3 X 10 inches for example. the port would then have to be about 28 inches long for a 35 hz tuning i believe.

you should be able to figure out all of your dimensions using winisd.
