So I have 2 12" W3 at 400x2 right now and they can't keep up with my MBQuart Q series at 187.5x2. What would you recommend for an upgrade? Cheapest would be to swap in W6V2 and keep the same volume and 400x2. Very expensive would be to build a new box for 2 12" W7 and buy a new 1500 watt amp. Or am I better of staying with just the W3s?

(And yes, I considered Brahma too, but it sounds like they'd need a bigger amp too).

SQ=first concern. But it isn't loud enough right now to keep up with my highs.

are you saying the w3's aren't loud enough? because teh w3's will tend to be louder then the w6's...although the w6s are supposed to sound better

12w3's can't handle much power anyway...also past their power rating. I'd say get some better subs and sell those 12w3's.

Amp will have to be an RF with #6 heatsink, IE either my current RF 800A2 800@4ohm or upgrade to RF 1500BD1 1500@2ohm. Otherwise it'd just mess up my setup. IDMax or Brahma sound more interesting to me than RE, but I've never heard them, just read lots and lots on the various boards.
