how much do you think thoes E15k's will take I'm thinking of ordering one of the new ones to replace my IDMAX12 do you think it will take the 1200 watts I was giving my max a friend will buy my max for $250 and the E15k is $145 I'm going to make $105 and go up from a 12 to a 15 and hopefully get louder in the process but i'm just worried about giving one of them that many whats

fred...they are rated at 400W, and while it is conservative 1200W is a bit much for daily use. You could run 600W to them daily without any problems...but 1200W to a 2.5" voice coil is alot of power, especially continuous even with the huge cooling vents on the K's. you'd be better off distributing that power between two of them.
