I am quite curious as to what these sound like in a ported box. I am thinking of buying a pair of the 15's and put them in a huge ported box. Also, what kind of power have people been running to these things and having good results as to them handling it? Thanks.

I use 12's on my bd1500.1 in a 4.5 cu ft ported box , sound good , not too muddy even though I am tuned to 40 Hz .....They take the watts too , I am putting about 850 RMS each and they love it !

Power or punch hx2's I had two punch hx2 15"s in a 5 cubic foot ported enclosure and they hit pretty good.

The subs will be the HX2's, not the POWER HX2's. What size box would you recommend? Also, how do you get the formula for cubic feet of the box? I used to know, but have been out of the game for a while. By the way, i am going to build 1 box for each sub, just so you know. Thanks for the replies so far.

I had 2 HX2 15's I had them in a 5^ft box with 50in of port tuned to 35hz.. and it got low and pretty loud...
the formula for airspace is (LxWxH)/1728
