yes u do want to bolt the box or majorly screw down the box somehow, otherwise u have a nice moving wall that can smash u. you can build it to the contours of the floor using wood or u can use spacers to make a flat plane for the main box to sit on so that it is over the tranny hump. Whether or not u want a shop to do it for you is up to you. It isn't exactly an easy task but it is doable with a reasonable amount of skill. Help throughout the process? just come here. The first thing to do is make the basic box. Then use trim panels and/or expanding foam to seal it off.

well i cant do it right this second but maby in a couple of weeks i will have the money. i just want to learn all i can before i start with someone.

i was thinking around 10 cubes internal tuned to 35hz, man i love those lows . maby someone can tell me how much port area is safe to use.

i also need to get another jbl 1200.1, or should i sell everything i have now and get some dd's but it would take alot longer for me to get them seeing how i would have to save up for most of the set up.

any more tips?
thanks.

Id stick with what you have. No reason to sell everything and spend more money in getting new subs. L7's are great and not many people have them in WA area. And yes a couple weeks sounds good...cuz we have to build quite a few boxes by then.
