I have starting rebuilding Timmay's van for this season to run in the USAC Super Mod. classes. Thought I would start a new topic for it for all of you to see the progress of the van and to let everyone know that it is still alive.
P.S. Chris I hope you don't mind me posting this in your section. I know alot of people was watching this van being build when Timmay had it and was wanting to let everyone see how it was comming along.

Here is the start of the rebuild. The console was a monster to tear out. Took me six hours just to get it out. Pulled everything out of the back of the box to rebuild the enclosures for the six fifteens we will be running in it.

Here is how we decided to redo the enclosures for the subs. It should be very strong and completely sealed tight. A lot of holes having to be cut out for the new baffles. I put in about 4 hours just to get the holes cut. 78 holes later and all the baffles are done.

if you havn't, i would still do a few braces from the baffle to the back wall depending on the subs its gonna freak you out how much that thing can move even that many layers thick
and any movement in that design = bad bad bad

Well, I have been doing alot of work to the van to get it ready for Spring Break Jam and it is nearly to that point. Everything is rebuilt for now and just need to glass everything and install all the new equipment. Just waiting on the weather to get nicer and all the equipment to get here. Will have some more pics up in a day or two.

Here are a few pics of what I have gotten done to the van. Hopfully it will be warm enough to get some fiberglassing done. This weekend we will be busy installing all the new equipment. Hopfully we will be able to turn a few heads at Padre.
