Would the paint have to be all the way across the bottom of the windshield? Not just the section in front of the extra wood? Just covering all the bases here, I think the Windshield is supposed to be "symetrical" isn't it?

Just making sure your covered, worried that would eat up the 4 sq ft?

Correct. I think we all know what everybody is gonna be doing to their dash for SBN if it already isn't done...And if they have window glass to spare. LOL I know I do! [Smile]

· The unobstructed viewing area for the front windshield must be 4 square feet (0.3716m^2) or larger. The unobstructed viewing area must be symmetrical in nature, with equivalent transparent areas on both the driver and passenger sides of the vehicle. Important: Only areas of the windshield that are not impeded in any way will be considered unobstructed. This includes window tint.

I also will be doing this...also its 4sq ft. as you are looking at it correct....not 4sq ft with the angle of the dash.

O and chris i ant saying ures is legal or not legal...i just want to know what i have to do to mine. I love it that you are posting pics that are helping ALOT of people out. Me being one of them.

Yeah, thats what I was mentioning, I think you would have to block off the same section on the passenger side as well... Would it have an effect on mic placement as well?

Better to deal with it now, than to get to Daytona and have someone complain and mess up things for you...
