Can totally be done - but crackling at the output due to wear on the line-feed tracks eventually makes it impractical - you have to keep replacing the bushing contacts and the tracks.

As an alternative - an oscillating rotation works better. back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth
Like tennis - but LOUDER.

if its just for show why not just do what someone else mentioned, just make it look like its plugged in and spin that sucker on a motor, i mean its for show right?

im not saying its not gonna work, but i mean theres alot of strong points that make it impractical at times.

they sell gutted out amp shells on ebay or ive seen a few. for cheap. get one clean it up then bam you got yourself a floating roating amp?

it should still be trick!
