Can totally be done - but crackling at the output due to wear on the line-feed tracks eventually makes it impractical - you have to keep replacing the bushing contacts and the tracks.
As an alternative - an oscillating rotation works better. back-and-forth-and-back-and-forth Like tennis - but LOUDER.

i thought about doin the same sort of thing. started thinking about all the parts needed, and threw the idea out. to much work to have it not work very well, ha.

the idea isnt trashed im just trying to find a cheaper set of connectors the lastones were just under 500 each or i have to do a few more fg boxes on my spare time to afford them

if its just for show why not just do what someone else mentioned, just make it look like its plugged in and spin that sucker on a motor, i mean its for show right?
im not saying its not gonna work, but i mean theres alot of strong points that make it impractical at times.
they sell gutted out amp shells on ebay or ive seen a few. for cheap. get one clean it up then bam you got yourself a floating roating amp?
