IS there a durability difference between a sub that has a svc 2ohm coil and a 4ohm dvc(wired to 2 ohms)?

No.

Really the only thing that can do any damage to a voice coil is overheating it, which could melt the insulation or the adhesive used to hold the coil together. If you never overheated a voice coil it could theoretically last forever.

How much heat a voice coil produces is not related to its impedance, but rather how much power is being sent to it. Of course the power of an amp usually goes up with a lower load impedance, which does put more stress on the amp, but for a speaker only the total power matters.
