Has anyone ever used ports or made ports that branch off of a single port? what I mean is, lets say there would be 3 port holes on the outside of the box and there would only be one in the inside of the box. So air goes in the single port and spreads out thruogh hte 3 exit ports. how exactly would you tune a port like that? Im guessing you measure each piece.

Because there would be a bottleneck in the larger port and because the smaller ports would cause a different tuning, I don't see much practical use for this in sub boxes myself... I'd love to be proved wrong.

For finding a tuning frequency, I'm sure you can break this down into parts...(Like series parralel wiring configs) Just not sure how.. Anybody else?

Yes.. including the bottle-neck primary tube.. i think it would just translate into a given radius (the pvc radius) wide tube and change the apparent length.

for outlaw or PORT WARS kind of competition.. also done the exact opposite...creates high point at end of port for velocity...you get extreme turbulence. and if all 3 come together at one point..say mid port..or conventionally at the entrance of the port and come together as one ..then right at the end of the port is healthy turbulence and mics love it.
gay to listen to though..
Best Regards, Steve
