It's been a while since i was activley installing. I am currently starting to get back into this stuff. Anyway my 2 quesitons are:

1)Years ago I wired a mute button(spst push-on/off)to my HU, it didn't have one on the faceplate. I used the phone mute lead, when ground was supplied it muted the audio for incoming calls. I would like to do the same thing now with my Sony CDX- F5700 & am not sure if it's possible. i tried using their live, messaging service to get help but you can guess how successful that was. The unit seems to have the needed lead but can anyone help me out.

2) In the relative near future I would like to replace my factory seperates(99 pathfinder) with aftermarket ones. I assume it is common to simply replace the factory tweeter with the new one. Are there any web pages out there that show this procedure. The tweeters are located in the A pillars.
