Sorry if this is in the wrong forum feel free to move. I have a friend who wants to buy my sub and amp. The sub is a 2002 L7 12 dual 2 that really has never been pushed hard and a kenwood 300rms 600 max power amp. I have no idea on what to charge him, but want it to put me well on my way to a JBL 1200.1 and a monster sub. I just want it to be fair on both ends, help.

Since it's your friend you should be honest. Did you buy it full price at a shop w/ warranty of off the net at much discount price? Plus since it's your freiend, usually you sell stuff to them cheeper.. jsut the things that friends do. I'd personally start around 1/2 of what you paid.

id personaly go about 1/2 of what its worth. but if its still got a warente left id charge 2/3 if its in good condition still. but if its beat up alittle id still go 1/2. you hook up your good friends (keyword GOOD FRIENDS) they hook you up later. but if they aint that true and you know it... well charge what you want. ive lent out a ampand a sub to a friend and i got the subs back but the amp well i never seen him again. hi just disapeared! but it was only a 1600watt pyramid amp so for only 140$ i wasnt to worried about it. you find out who your friends are in situations like that.

i have the same problem i have a pair of MA AUDIO 12xi and a COUSTIC 600se with bass remote. i just bought a month month and a half ago both 12s and amp are under warranty and they were only used maybe 3 hours of playing time i got my new stuff and now dont know what to ask for this stuff i dont want to stick any one but i dont want to lose out.
