Ok so i have the opportunity to get a pioneer eq-6500 for next to nothing. I do have all my speakers and subs running off amps. First off is this a decent eq?
And my other question is.. it has one rca input in the back, and then front/rear/sub outputs. BUT my deck has front/rear/sub outputs on it's own. But of course with the deck i am limited to tuning my music... So is my deck giving me just as good SQ as this eq will give me because of it's own pre-outs? Or will running the eq off one set of rca's give me better sound due to tuning ability. I do beleive my deck only has 2v-2.5 volt pre-outs, so will the eq boost the pre-out or lessen it due to only one. Anyways if someone could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.
